My second day in Singapore was another chance to see the nearby area of Little India. Later, I met up with Ciska in Holland Village, one of the many shopping districts in Singapore.

As I walked around Little India, there was a major market area which had fresh fruits, clothes, and other souvenir type items.

There was a lot of action in the market which was interesting.

After filming around the market, I took a taxi over to see Ciska at Holland Village. Singapore has Little India, Chinatown, and many different ethnic areas. I am not sure if International Area is the proper terminology but it is interesting to see how all the different communities coexist in these highly controlled country.

Ciska and I spent sometime looking at her various photographs. She is a great photographer. She is trying her best to get the word out about Indonesia. She has a real passion about her native country. I look forward to seeing her again in Singapore or Indonesia.
