So it is now 2:26 A.M. in Hong Kong and I am finally getting the chance to sit down and write a blog.
Getting out the general but important news: We have decided to add crew to the project, as it has expanded even more. Matt, our researcher, and Ward the Exec Producer are joining the traveling front! We are hiring, through Brad's fantastic judgment more researchers in Colorado. Lynette is still up in the air.... meaning she also might be coming on this travel leg. They will all arrive in Bangkok on the 6th of July. We have pushed back all the dates of the trip for two weeks to allow me to fly to the states to meet with various people, distributors and such. I leave Hong Kong on the 18th, for Los Angeles. I leave Los Angeles on the 26th for Denver, and then I leave Denver for New York City on the 30th. I will depart New York for Thailand on the 6th of July. We pushed back the dates so that we are not going to miss anything on the leg of the first trip.
Oops...one last: I have a ton of picks to post and will try and do that tonight or this morning I should say.
All right that is the boring stuff, so moving on....
Taipei: Well what can I tell you about Taipei? For me personally it was a time of great change and realization in regards to the movement of AWAKE and the movement inside of my awareness. We had one interview...it was great.... and the rest of the time was spent doing business with AWAKE and a little leisure break at the Shangri-la. If you get the chance to go to Taiwan, definitely don't miss a stay at this beautiful hotel.
Personally: I probably asked myself the question that I am asking of the world a million times. It was really freeing on many levels and difficult on others. I think as I struggle with the question and hear others answers and opinions to the nature of this question, it sparks an even deeper meaning to me. We have met so many wonderful people and they have really been Huge mirrors for me, which is what I hoped, for myself, and everyone who might see the finished endeavor. I really have had the chance to see that what we are doing with this project is so important to people's personal growth. It is expansive and beautiful to listen to our world, all the things they have to say, and all the wisdom that they share. I am emotional about the process and deeply grateful that people are so responsive and articulate. I feel really connected to the world. This is my personal experience with AWAKE!
Life: I have a lot of friends and family in the states grappling with life issues. I think about them a lot and hope that they are growing in their own life experiences. I feel them, through other people that
I encounter in Asia, and wish I could have them all here with me! I feel their triumphs and struggles wherever I am and just wish the best for everyone in this life! You are all on my mind in my heart. Congratulations Franny and Mark, All my heart Leslie, Jim and Bobby! My deepest love to both my grandma's whom I love so deeply! My nieces are constantly on my mind...when I get to hear stories about them.... it breaks my heart...and lifts me up! They are growing up! My cousins, especially Kristal and Marilyn, you too are always in my heart. Kristal I can't wait to see your beautiful baby boy and give you a big hug! Karen and Lucas and Cheri...so much love.... Everyone who has emailed me, all the family of course, friends and my parents...If you have parents like mine you have got to be the luckiest person alive. I love you guys! Bobby, if you are out there, I hope you are so happy and signing a record deal right now!!! Rob and Raquel.... happy as the friendly squirrels at the park on Capital Hill...I hope you are feeling the deep love you have for one another and enjoying every moment!
There are so many more people that I want to connect with, and so.... I guess I am...I just am not writing it out on this blog.
