May 19 In the heart of Seoul
05-30-06 | 12:46
Another bustling day in Seoul, we are staying in the Myeondong district. It feels like a festival everyday.
There are always tons and tons of people walking in the streets. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of Seoul and this particular district.
Awake film is of course about answering questions but it is also about people and where they live, work, talk, and laugh.
The youth of Seoul were definitely out in force. As I watched them lining up to enter the cinema to see the Da Vinci Code and Mission Impossible, I could see that the same as any other major city in the world.
But of course, there are "Go Corea" signs everywhere. There is a keen interest in the World Cup and Korea's role in it.
I was most interested all the differents faces; smiling, laughing, sighing, spying, peering, and leering.
There is so much to capture and share.
Much much more later....Paul
